Official opening of the I-66 Express Lanes toll road

Infrata are engaged as Lenders Technical Adviser on this major upgrading of the I-66 between the I-495 Capital Beltway and Gainesville to the west. This $3.6 billion investment, one of the largest ever P3 projects in the US,  provides express lanes with dynamic tolling and upgraded general purpose lanes along a 22.5 mile length of the I-66. Infrata Technical Director, Ray Powell, congratulates the I-66 team for achieving this landmark event with the project working on throughout the COVID pandemic to reach Substantial Completion on-schedule.
