The Noor Abu Dhabi Street Lighting – Phase 2 involves replacement of existing 133,473 high-pressure sodium (HPS) and metal halide (MH) luminaires with energy efficient LED Luminaires for street lighting. The Project is structured as a public private partnership (PPP) between the Department of Municipalities of Transport (DMT) (Procurer) and Nojoom (Project Company). The scope includes design, finance, supply, installation, operation and maintenance for the street lighting network across the Abu Dhabi mainland, wireless connection to the road lighting control centre and associated services for a 10-year concession period.
We undertook Technical Due Diligence on behalf of the Lenders. Financial Close for this project was reached in April 2023 and we continue providing our services for construction monitoring phase.
