Carlsbad Desalination Plant has been operational since 2015 and has a design capacity of 50 million gallons of potable water per day to meet 10% of the City of San Diego’s potable water demands. The works encompassing the project consists of:
- Modification and decommissioning of the existing intake infrastructure to ensure compliance with California’s regulations
- Wetland restorations for the Otay River Floodplain Site.
We undertook technical due diligence on behalf of the lenders of the project. Our engagement will continue throughout the construction and operational phase.
