The first section with a total length of 259.1 km connecting Puerto Salgar, in the Department of Cundinamarca, to Barrancabermeja, located in Santander. Works include the construction of 148.1km of second lanes and the improvement of 153km of existing roadway.
The second section with a total length of 272.1 km connecting Barrancabermeja in the Department of Cundinamarca, to San Roque, located in Cesar. Works include the construction of 125.6 km of second lanes and the improvement of 112.5 km of existing roadway.
This project will allow the completion of the Ruta del Sol II contract works and the consolidation of the Troncal del Magdalena road, connecting the center of the country with the Caribbean coast.
