The PPP includes 10km of dual carriageway, a 675-metre-long immersed tube tunnel under the River Shannon, 11 structures and two toll plazas. We provided an independent review of the material technical risks and costs to a potential buyer. This included the developments of an independent Heavy Maintenance model, using current unit rates to allow comparison with the vendor’s case. Along with pavement and structures the analysis focused on lifecycle planning and costing of motorway and tunnel management equipment.
