The A45 consists of a design, build, finance, operate and maintain (DBFOM) new tolled motorway about 48 km long, with a 2x2 lane configuration, between the existing motorways A72 (Saint-Etienne) and A450 (Lyon). It has 11 viaducts, 2 of which combined into 1, and 4 tunnels. This is a toll-based project, dependent on variable traffic.
