The Noor II Street Lighting Project involves replacement of existing 133,473 high-pressure sodium (HPS) and metal halide (MH) luminaires with energy efficient LED Luminaires for street lighting. The scope includes design, finance, supply, installation, operation and maintenance for the street lighting network across the Abu Dhabi mainland, wireless connection to the road lighting control centre and associated services for a 10-year concession period.

We performed lender’ ESG due diligence, assessed environmental and social risks and adequacy of the proposed management plans, reviewed the Project’s compliance with national regulations and laws, and against Equator Principles and screened the environmental and social aspects of the Project based on the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
