The University of Florida is in the process of modernizing its utility services, some of which are approaching the end of their service life. The project’s ultimate goals are to service the University of Florida with steam, chilled water, and electric services and consists of three components:
- Design, build, finance, operate, and maintain a Central Energy Plant that includes a chilled water and steam distribution network
- Build-finance a thermal distribution piping loop
- Build-finance an electric substation
