This C$2.5 billion project is to DB and partially finance the extension of the Confederation LRT (light rail transit) system. The line will be lengthened 14.5km west, to include 3 new and 8 converted stations. A 2.9km tunnel and maintenance and storage facility are to be constructed. Similarly, a 12.5km eastward extension is also planned, with 5 new stations.
