The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension Advance Tunnel is part of the Province of Ontario’s New Subway Transit Plan for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. The DBF project comprises the execution of 6.4km TBM twin bored tunnel extension of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Line. The project also includes the construction of the launch shafts, extractions shafts, maintenance shafts, eight headwalls for future stations and 4 headwalls for emergency exit buildings. The Concessionaire is a joint venture formed by ACS, Aecon and Ghella.
